A free trial only helps if you use it well. Fourteen days passes quickly, especially when orders and customers keep arriving. This plan helps you get a real answer from your Yep AI free trial: does it fit your store or not?
How the Trial Works
- 14 days on every plan. Core and Growth both start with the trial.
- Nothing charged today. You can try it before paying.
- Billing for Shopify stores goes through your Shopify account, with a reminder email on day 12.
- Cancel anytime. No lock in.
- Setup in under 10 minutes.
Knowing the dates up front means no surprises. Details are on the free trial page.
Day 1: Start Your Yep AI Free Trial
A free trial Shopify AI app should take minutes to start, and the Shopify AI app setup here follows the same short path for every store. Install Yep AI from the Shopify App Store, then:
- Connect your store.
- Add your policies: shipping, returns, exchanges.
- Set your brand voice for content.
- Choose your plan for the trial.
Be specific in your policies, and include the awkward details such as items you do not accept back or countries you do not ship to. Those edge cases are where unclear answers cause the most trouble. The clearer they are, the better the answers will be. Remember that Anna, the Support agent, requires the Growth plan, while Core includes the Marketing specialist.
Days 2 to 5: Test With Real Questions
Run the questions your customers actually ask:
- Where is my order?
- Can I return this?
- Does this come in another size?
- A question in a different language.
- An awkward case that needs a person.
Keep a simple list as you go, with three columns: what was asked, what the agent said, and what you would change. A dozen rows is plenty to reveal patterns. Read the conversations. Note where answers are right, where they need adjustment and where the agent correctly hands over to your team.
Days 6 to 9: Try Marketing Drafts
If you are on a plan with Maya, ask for a blog post, a few product descriptions and a short email journey. Review them in the Marketing Hub. Edit anything that does not sound like your store, and use that to refine your brand voice settings. Compare how long a draft takes to review against how long it would take to write from scratch. That comparison is one of the clearest measures of value during the trial.
Days 10 to 14: Review and Decide
By now you have enough conversations and drafts to judge with evidence rather than a hunch.
- Question
- Did it answer accurately?
- What to look at
- Sample conversations
- Question
- Did it hand off well?
- What to look at
- Escalations and summaries
- Question
- Do drafts sound like us?
- What to look at
- Marketing Hub content
- Question
- How much time did it save?
- What to look at
- Your own estimate
- Question
- Which plan fits?
- What to look at
- Features and credits you used

Our guide on how to hire an AI team member step by step offers a longer version of this review. The reminder email on day 12 gives you time to decide.
Days 13 and 14: Choose
Continue on the plan that fits, switch plans, or cancel. If you are unsure which plan suits you, see the pricing page and the explainer on Core vs Growth.
Where Yep AI Fits
During the trial you can see the agents working from your own Shopify data: Anna for support on the Growth plan, Maya for marketing, and Oscar for operations, which is in Early access. For a feel of the full team, read Anna, Maya and Oscar. The ecommerce customer service page covers the support side.
